Greeting is the first step to get the customer to stop and talk to you. With a proper greeting the customer will give you a moment to establish a conversation. This small opening is your beginning to developing a relationship with the customer.
This course will teach you how to properly approach and greet the customer in a variety of situations. This is the first step in your sales process.
When you complete this course you will be able to:
- Engage passersby and prospective customers with your greetings.
- Correctly determine which type of greeting to use in different retail sales scenarios.
- Create compelling greetings that will catch the customer’s attention and get them to stop for a moment and talk.
Through this course you will begin to transition from an average sales person to an advanced one by developing greetings that are warm and engaging for the customer.
